2011. So far, you're so good.

This year has been so good t o me, so far. Parang gusto ko na ata maniwala sa mga psychic who said that Pisceans are lucky this year. 2011 is just 9-days old, though so it's technically still too early to say that I'll be lucky this year. Oh well, I'm just living this year one day at a time. If there's one thing I've learned from last year, it's to avoid over-thinking things and planning too much because I just end up feeling either disappointed or stressed out. Actually, most of the time, I feel both.

So how's my year so far... Lemme see.

  • Mitch finally met my folks. He's too shy, though.
  • I was booked for Palawan. The trip is on March.
  • Planned a perfect Valentine getaway with three other couples :)
  • General meeting with Musiqality. MAI as the new leader. Go Kekemonski!
  • Stephen's birthday celebration.
Marami na ata agad nangyari sa nine (9) days, ha? :D More on the coming days, please. Lord, let this be my year.

Where was I?

It's been almost a month since my last entry and reading "I missed writing here." shouldn't come as a surprise. Seriously. I wanted to write about everything that happened during my absence but I'm feeling lazy as usual. As much as I hate writing in bullet form, I sometimes make exemptions courtesy of laziness by yours truly. Pretty much like this one. Duh.

  • Eclipse. I finally got to see it. Yes, 'finally' really is the perfect word. It was nice. Bella got prettier and Jacob is still a hunk as ever! I think it's the best among the series. The dialogues were sweeter and smarter. The only thing I didn't like about the story is the climax. It was sort of 'bitin'. Oh and also, I still don't get it why it was entitled as such. It's either I'm too slow or the title really does not have any relevance to the story at all. I guess I better start reading the book. My date thinks the change of director prolly has something to do with the improvements in the screenplay and the cinematography. He can be wrong but I think he's right. Or am I just bias? ;p
  • Toy Story 3 in 3D. Such an adorable movie. It was funny and a tearjerker at the same time. The story sort of reminded me how some things are really inevitable and how these things can hurt you but still make you feel alive. Well, we only gain in life.
  • Divisoria. Another 'finally'. After a long time, I got to visit the place again. Shopped a little with Avs and Kiwi. Had an encounter with flood and wished that Jaic was there with us. Lol. No matter how crowded it gets, Divisoria simply is the place to be.
  • Knight and Day. Had a movie date with Froggy and Avs before going to Avs's surprise birthday party. She was totally clueless and I loved it. Hehe. It was a great gimmick and congratulations to Froggy for a well-planned surprise. :D
  • Legally Blonde. The perks of being a Meralco employee!! Yeah. We got to watch this for free. FYI, I'm referring to Nikki Gil's theater play and not Reese Witherspoon's movie. Nikki was good, in fairness. I didn't recognize Cris Villongco, who played the role of Vivian. And Nyoy Volante really is a small guy. Hehe. Oh and Jet Pangan was part of the cast too.
  • QUALITY TIME. The best part of everything. 'Nuff said. OMG!
  • Family Bonding. I dated my family one Sunday... My treat, for a change. Had a great time; I wish my brother's here though. Yayan, my adopted baby brother, finally had his first professional haircut at Cuts for Tots at Trinoma. He's the cutest rock star ever!! :D
  • Date. Long talk about life, love, and everything in between. Plus the fireworks for the added romantic drama. I am smiling. I definitely am. Thank you. ♥
  • Musiqality. I miss them so bad. I'm so excited to finally see them again after months of being MIA. I missed dancing but not as much as I missed these ladies.
  • Service Application. After six months of handling complaints, I am back in service applications. Paguran nanaman itey! WARLA! Less monitoring, less irate customers, less phone calls, less stress but more pagod... mooooore pagoooood. Demmit!!
  • Masters Degree. I am craving for higher education. Or do I just miss being a student? But this has to wait til next year. My savings is still not enough. Gaaaad... I wanna study again.

Days weren't as boring and as hectic as before. My life started to make more sense and became more interesting. I am finally back on track. Things are a lot better now. The sun always shows up after the storm. That's just the way it is.

em so bek!

Been idle here for quite some time now. In that stretch of time, so many things have happened. So many changes have taken place. As much as I want to recall everything and jot it down here, I guess it's better to leave it all behind and just start writing again about "the now". I don't know where and how to start, anyway. But prolly, you'll have an idea about these unwritten happenings in my life as you read on my next entries, if you ever will. :)

I'm here at my cousin's place (supposedly) spending some quality time with my relatives. But obviously, I'm doing otherwise. Got nothing much to do here and since I'm feeling this unmanageable urge to write, tadah!

In observance of the holy week, I am thinking of what kind of sacrifice to make.. you know, sort of a penitence. Then I remembered I've been going out with friends almost every night. Been going home in the wee hours of the morning, which is (NOTE: I perfectly know) super dangerous. So I guess that'll be my sacrifice. I'll stay home for the rest of the week. And will
quit going home late. Hehe. Yes, I know it sounds shallow and simple but aside from this, meron pa. Something too personal to write here. ;P

And oh before I forget, the BIGGEST update! My top-favorite one.. I LOST WEIGHT! Chyeah!

i shall return.. and i did!

So i've decided to keep this blog account coz I've been seeing a lot of improvements with Blogger's widgets. And since that's (widgets) one of the reasons why I decided to leave this account, now that it has already improved, maybe I can give it another try here. However, expect to read or see the same stuff here and at my other account. =)

cientobente. on diet.

losing weight is the second hardest thing in the world. resisting tempting foods is the hardest. arg. one week at elbi means one week of (finally) dancing again but hey, am still not feeling it. i'm still not feeling any lighter, no improvements... zero... nada.

i-a-m-s-t-i-l-l-f-a-t.

i'm not that fat really but i always believed that prevention is better than cure. i'm just getting so sick and tired of hearing my mom time and again telling me that i've too lose weight NOW; otherwise, it'd be too late. if there's anything good that came out from being extra chubby now it's that it was a reason enough to convince my mom that i got to go back to elbi to dance again. if not for that 10 to 15 pounds extra baggage, i'd still be here at bulacan running errands that can't even get a single drop of sweat off from me. in short, activities that are not helping me lose weight in any way.

i still have lotsa time, actually. i'm just getting sooo impatient coz eyes are on me. it's always the first thing my friends notice... "ang taba mo.." sheesh. kung hindi lang masama manampal ng kaibigan. hoho.

but hey, i'm now back to my circulation. in due time, i'd be able to go back to my old physique. i swear.

on idle times... updates

haven't been able to blog lately... and it's because i was sick. actually, i still am but i'm feeling a whole lot better. have nothing much to write about, really.. i just want to write. i have so many thoughts in my head and i don't know which one to write about. so lemme try..

first up: there's my dilemma of whether or not to go with my family in migrating to canada. sure there are bigger opportunities there but i'm not quite sure if i can give up my life here for a promising life abroad. you know it's not easy to just leave everything behind especially if i have lived here all my life. this is the place i've known and seen for almost 22 years. i can't just give this up.

since i still haven't decided about this matter yet, i can't figure out my next move. i just graduated last semester so right now, i don't know whether i'll study again or start to work. if i decide to go with my family, i'd have to study again because i'm already turning 22 (ouch) on March, which means that in terms of age, i'm already expected to be independent already so i'd be required to file a solo application for migration. that's the rule of the Canadian embassy. To work or not to work - that is the question. *boink

second up: diet. i really need to slim down. gaaad. i'm getting fatter and heavier day by day. but how can i slim down? i don't have time to exercise and whenever i have time, i feel lazy to do so. haha. kidding. ang sarap sarap naman kasi kumain. arg. my mom always reminds me about my weight and physique. eto na kasi ang pinakmataba kong katawan. imagine? from 100 to 105lbs, i now weigh 120lbs? gosh. i'm starting to feel very body-conscious for the first time. ohwell, you know what they say, there is always a first time for everything. this just sucks. that's it.

those are the two major dilemmas i have. petty as it is for others, for me it's a big big big deal. God, please guide me.

late-night updates.

Missed writing here for the past week and right now, everything's just so crazy. Actually crazier than last week.

Anyway, I just got home from Elbi. Gaaaad. Speaking of Elbi, I miss it soooo bad.. the place, the ambiance, the people, everything! :( Top of it all, I miss Erik and the rest of the clan. All my years in college, I spent with the group. It was a drastic change for me to suddenly not be with them every single day. Same with Erik... soooobrang nakaka-experience ako ng separation anxiety. arg. We grew together at Elbi. Almost all of our special memories happened there. Elbi's our love nest. It was a witness of our four years together and even the moments before that.

Update No. 1:
Last night was a blast. We [clan] had our Preppy Christmas Party. Sooper saya. Everybody had fun, I guess. If there was an award for the Mr. and Ms. Parlor Games, I'm sure that would be given to me and Erik. We practically won all the games last night. Haha. The concept of the games were full of twists and I'd like to commend the youngest batch for that. It has been a tradition of the group na kasi that the youngest batch will be assigned to spearhead the Christmas Party. Moving on, I really had fun kahit na napaupo pa ako sa ngalan ng pagiging panalo. The part was crazy!! Even got crazier after the party proper. Some, including me, are on the pool while others are upstairs videoke-ing while drinking. As expected, there are some who drank too much and got so emo and were out of control. They made the night all the more interesting, that's all I can say. *grin. That was another sleepless night but it was worth the puyat. I feel sorry for those who slept early. They missed a lot.

Update No. 2:
Our business is what kept me busy the past week. This is the first time mom entrusted me with something soooo big, something that can make or break our life, so I'm really giving my all to it coz I don't wanna screw up. puh-lease. I'm super happy because I think I'm doing great and I'm actually enjoying it. It just made me feel so grown up already. Anyway, I was there at our stall last week except for Friday and Saturday. I went to Elbi last Saturday and went home today. About Friday? Well, it was my rest day which I wholeheartedly devoted to watching America's Next Top Model. Haha. I was pretty (and) bummed out. *lol

Update No. 3:
December 9 was utol's birthday. He's 19 already, which I found shocking coz I really lost track of his age. I stopped being concerned with his age since he was 8. Haha. Not that I don't care. I just didn't think of it as a big deal. So when he told me that he's already 19, I was like, "huwwwaaaaaaatt?!!!" Anyway, we celebrated his day at Antipolo. All the Fortaleza's were there plus some distant relatives and family friends. It was a fun day. I just have this gut feeling that he can still be happier. Kung nandun sana si gf... kaya lang, wala kasi siyang lisensya, hindi pa aprubado ni momi si gf and mukhang malabong mangyari.

Update No. 4
Erik and I celebrated our fourth anniversary at Trinoma. I initially thought that it will be just like our monthsaries kasi sa mall kami magcecelebrate. Things didn't go the way we planned it due to time and budget constraints. The original plan kasi involves our supposedly first out of town trip together, solo. So we ended up sa Trinoma. Yes we celebrated at a typical place but the day we had was beyond extraordinary. We really had fun and it was something we can really call a celebration of an anniversary. It may not be as extravagant as how we wanted it to be but that's beside the point now coz we really had a great time. Lustay pera mode kami as pambawi. A very happy anniversary indeed. :)

I left out so many details regarding all these activities, nalimot ko na kasi ung iba and medyo natamad na ako mag-type. i lost the momentum already eh. Sayang. goodnight.
